Start kids saving! Start kids saving!

Getting children to save their birthday or pocket money in Bonus Bonds is a great way to start teaching them good saving habits and the importance of putting money aside as savings - skills they'll value later in life.

Please note that when Bonus Bonds are purchased on behalf of children under 7 years of age, operating authority resides with their parent or guardian, who will also be paid any prizes that are won. Once the child has turned seven any prizes won will be paid to them. Operating authority automatically reverts to the child once they reach the age of 15 - although the parent or guardian can consent to transfer operating authority to the child at any time after they reach the age of 7 (which means they can cash in their Bonus Bonds themselves).
