To use MyBonusBonds for the first time simply follow this two-step process:

Step one: Register

Registering for MyBonusBonds is easy - simply provide some personal information and choose a password. You'll then be given an Access Number that you'll need to activate the service. This Access Number will also be needed (along with your chosen password) to log on to MyBonusBonds.

When you register you have the option to choose 'View only' access. If you do so, you'll be able to check your balance, see any prizes that you have won and send us secure emails. You will not be able to purchase or cash in via MyBonusBonds.

Step two: Activate

Once you've registered you'll need to activate the service before you can use it. This is a security procedure to ensure only you can access your Bonus Bonds.

How to activate for MyBonusBonds if you are an existing Bondholder:

• Print off and sign the Activation and Direct Debit form attached to the email you receive when you register and Freepost it back to us along with proof of bank account.

It's even easier if you're an ANZ or National Bank customer
If you complete the Direct Debit authority section of the form using an ANZ or National Bank account as your funding and redemption account for MyBonusBonds you do not need to send proof of bank account, making it even easier to activate.

Please allow up to 5 business days for processing the activation from the date you post the form. You will receive an email letting you know you have been activated. You'll then be able to buy Bonus Bonds, check your balance, view your prize winnings and much more - all from the comfort of your own home.

We take the security of MyBonusBonds very seriously. Here are just some of the ways we ensure your Bonus Bonds are secure online:

• Our promise to you
  In the unlikely event that you incur a loss from online fraud involving MyBonusBonds, we'll reimburse you the full amount of any unauthorised transaction (provided that you are not involved in the fraud and act within MyBonusBonds' Conditions of Use).
• Data encryption
  All MyBonusBonds sessions are secured using a 128-bit encrypted connection (Microsoft Server Gated Cryptography). This means the data travelling across the internet, your computer and MyBonusBonds is encrypted, ensuring only you can access your personal information.
• MyBonusBonds session time-outs
  You should always sign out of MyBonusBonds when you have finished using it. But if you forget, a session 'time-out' automatically logs you off the system if there has been no activity for 10 minutes. This protects your Bonus Bonds as well as your privacy.
• Firewalls
  We regularly update our firewall technology to protect our systems from unauthorised access via the internet. You should also make sure you have up-to-date firewalls and virus detection software.
• Verification of your identity
  We require you to activate your registration before you can use MyBonusBonds. This provides extra security to ensure your identity is fully verified. We also require proof of your ownership of the bank account number you provided.
• Security alerts
  You'll see a Security Alert on the MyBonusBonds log on page if there's any suspicious activity going on - for instance scams such as 'phishing' emails that pretend to come from MyBonusBonds in an attempt to gain access to your Bonus Bonds.
• Bondmail
  Our Bondmail email system allows you to exchange confidential information with us in a secure environment. Ordinary email systems are not generally secure, but with Bondmail you can send and receive private or confidential information with confidence.

Ideas for protecting yourself from online fraud

• Let us know immediately if you think someone else may know your password.
• Check your Bonus Bonds transactions carefully and let us know if anything appears wrong.
• Don't tell anyone your password or let anyone see you using it. Never write it down.
• Take the same precautions as you would for internet banking.
• Keep your security software up-to-date.

Information on phishing emails

Hoax emails, also known as phishing, are scams where hackers "fish" for your personal details by sending emails claiming to be from financial institutions. Hoax emails claiming to be from financial institutions are often generated overseas and sent in bulk. The email asks the recipient to provide sensitive information such as the username or access number and password by providing a link leading to a fake website, enabling thieves to gather the details for later fraudulent use.

Bonus Bonds will never email you seeking your personal access details (e.g. your MyBonusBonds Access Number or password). We'll also never send you an email containing a direct link to the MyBonusBonds log on page and ask you to log on. We may however send you emails from time to time containing links to the Bonus Bonds website about current promotions if you have signed up to receive email marketing about Bonus Bonds.

Protect yourself against phishing emails

You can minimise your chances of being a victim of phishing scams in a number of ways.

• Always log on to MyBonusBonds by entering the website address www.bonusbonds.co.nz into the address bar of your website browser
• Treat all emails requesting personal log on information, such as MyBonusBonds Access Number and password, with extreme caution. Authentic Bonus Bonds emails will not request personal details, information regarding your bondholding or log on information.
• Immediately delete emails of unknown origin, no matter how innocent or provocative the subject headings sound.
• Keep your anti-virus and firewall software up-to-date and perform regular scans of your computer.

If you receive a hoax / phishing email

If you receive an email that you think is fraudulent (for example, a 'phishing' or fake email that pretends to come from Bonus Bonds), there are a number of actions we'd like you to take:

1. Report the incident

   Please forward the email to emailalert@anz.com.

2. Delete the email
   • Delete the email immediately (first from your Inbox, and then from your 'Deleted items')
   • Do not click on any links.
   • Do not open any attachments.

   Never provide personal details or sensitive information such as your MyBonusBonds Access Number and password, or other log on details.

   Bonus Bonds does not send out emails requesting personal details or information regarding your bondholdings.

3. Scan your computer for viruses

   Many hoax emails contain viruses or trojan horses (key logger), which are downloaded to your computer when you open any attachments or select any included links.

   If you have clicked on any items within the email, run a complete virus check of your computer. It is recommended that you perform virus scans on your computer regularly.

4. Change your MyBonusBonds password

   After scanning your computer and ensuring it is free of viruses or trojans, you should change your MyBonusBonds password by clicking on 'My details' and 'Change password' in MyBonusBonds.

1. Can I register with MyBonusBonds for more than one bondholding?

Generally, yes. You can register for MyBonusBonds on the following types of bondholdings:

• Individual bondholdings you own,
• Joint bondholdings you share with someone else
• Your children's bondholdings (if they are under 15 years of age and you are recorded as the parent or guardian of the child).

For bondholdings that require two or more signatures, including a bondholding for a child under 15 years of age where two parents are required to sign, you may access information such as balance and prizes won and purchase more Bonus Bonds via MyBonusBonds. However you will not be able to redeem any of these Bonus Bonds or change bondholding details like the prize payment method via MyBonusBonds. Due to the general complexity of signatory requirements for businesses, trusts, incorporated clubs and societies, MyBonusBonds are not available for these entities.

If you have more than one bondholding, please advise us on the registration form when you register for MyBonusBonds. If you have already accessed MyBonusBonds and wish to add another bondholding that you own or have operating authority on, you can visit an ANZ branch in New Zealand to link additional bondholdings or send us a Bondmail including the applicable bondholding number to request this.

2. Can I open a new joint bondholding through MyBonusBonds?

No, you can not open a new joint bondholding using MyBonusBonds. This is because all parties to a joint bondholding need to agree to the operating authority arrangements i.e. one or all to sign, at the time the bondholding is established, and to do so all parties need to visit an ANZ branch (New Zealand) or a local PostShop with your personal ID. To save time, you may like to sign up for your new joint bondholding at the same time as activating your MyBonusBonds.

3. Can I access joint bondholding information through MyBonusBonds?

For bondholdings that require two or more signatures, including a bondholding for a child under 15 years of age where two parents are required to sign, you may access information such as balance and prizes won, and purchase more Bonus Bonds via MyBonusBonds. However you will not be able to redeem any of these Bonus Bonds or change bondholding details like the prize payment method via MyBonusBonds. If you want to change prize payment details, cash in your Bonus Bonds or change personal details through MyBonusBonds, then each bondholder must have single signing authority and therefore be able to make these decisions alone without the consent of the other bondholders. To organise single signing authority, every bondholder will need to go into an ANZ branch (New Zealand).

If your child's bondholding requires two signatures, both signatories will need to give permission (with both signatories signing) before changing prize payment details, cashing in Bonus Bonds or changing personal details. Both parents will need to go into a branch to have this set up. Alternatively you can arrange for single signing authority so that you make the changes on MyBonusBonds.

4. Can a trust, business, or incorporated club and society use MyBonusBonds?

MyBonusBonds isn't available to entities such as trusts, businesses and incorporated clubs and societies at this time.

5. How do I register my children's bondholding?

It's easy - provided you are currently recorded as their parent or guardian on their bondholding and have operating authority over their Bonus Bonds. Just provide your children's bondholding numbers when you register for MyBonusBonds. Or if you've already registered, simply ask us to link your children's bondholdings that you have operating authority over by sending us an email through our secure Bondmail service in MyBonusBonds. Please provide their bondholding numbers.

6. Are there any costs for accessing MyBonusBonds?

No, MyBonusBonds is totally free to access. Your bank may charge a fee for direct debiting funds from your bank account to buy Bonus Bonds. If you're cashing in your Bonus Bonds using our emergency redemption service, then a fee of $15 applies. This fee will be debited from the Bonus Bonds cashed in and the remainder deposited into your bank account.

7. What if I forget my password?

Call us on 0800 BONDS 4 U (0800 266 374) and correctly answer some questions specific to your bondholdings. This may also include questions you provided answers for when you first registered for MyBonusBonds.

8. What if my computer crashes while I'm purchasing or cashing in Bonus Bonds?

All your transactions made before the crash should have gone through. But if you want to make sure, restart your computer, log on to MyBonusBonds and click on 'My current transactions'. The status of any transaction you made through MyBonusBonds will show up, for example 'pending', 'in progress' or 'completed'.

9. What are electronic certificates or eCertificates?

eCertificates are electronic Bonus Bonds certificates that you can download, save and print from MyBonusBonds after you've bought Bonus Bonds through MyBonusBonds.

With MyBonusBonds, you'll automatically receive eCertificates instead of paper certificates whenever you buy Bonus Bonds online.

If you'd like to receive paper certificates, for instance to give to friends or family, you can choose to do this within MyBonusBonds by selecting the 'Bondholding details' screen. Paper certificates will continue to be issued for Bonus Bonds not purchased through MyBonusBonds.

10. Can I have my electronic certificates or eCertificates emailed to me?

No, but we'll email you to let you know when an eCertificate is available for you to download through MyBonusBonds.

11. How do I change my bank account details through MyBonusBonds?

• By mail. To add a bank account by mail, download and fill in a direct debit form and mail it to us including proof of your bank account such as an encoded deposit slip or your bank statement dated within the last three months to the Bonus Bonds Centre, Freepost, PO Box 898, Dunedin 9054.
• At an ANZ branch in New Zealand or your local PostShop. Bring your MyBonusBonds Access Number, your personal identification and proof of your bank account name and number such as a copy of an encoded deposit slip or your bank statement dated within the last three months and a completed direct debit form.

Please send us a Bondmail if you wish to remove a bank account from MyBonusBonds.

12. Can I link more than one bank account to MyBonusBonds?

Yes, you can have multiple bank accounts to buy and cash in your Bonus Bonds. We will need a completed direct debit form for each of your accounts and proof of your bank account details such as an encoded deposit slip or your bank statement dated within the last three months.

13. Is there a daily limit to how much I can purchase?

There is no maximum purchase amount when you are buying Bonds in your name, including when you intend to transfer the Bonds to another party at a later date, except for when you are buying for a joint bondholding where one or more of the parties have not been identified.

If you are buying Bonds for your children, friends and family or for a joint bondholding where one or more parties have not been identified, then your total purchases for all these types may not exceed $1,000 per day.

14. How long does it take to complete an online transaction?

Purchasing Bonus Bonds

Purchases made before 7pm (NZT) on a Business Day will be processed and appear in your 'My current transactions' the following Business Day. Purchases made after 7pm (NZT) on a business day or on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next Business Day and will appear in your 'My current transactions' the following Business Day.

Note, purchases successfully made before 7pm (NZT) will have an issue date of that day, and those units will be first eligible for the monthly prize draws once they have been held for one complete calendar month. For example, Bonus Bonds purchases before 7pm (NZT) on Sunday 31 October will be eligible for the December prize draw.

Cashing in Bonus Bonds

• Standard cash in requests made through MyBonusBonds before 7pm (NZT) on a Business Day (e.g. Mon 6pm NZT), will be processed the next business day (Tues), and you will receive payment the following business day (Wed morning).
• A standard cash in request submitted through MyBonusBonds after 7pm (NZT) on a Business Day (e.g. Mon 8pm NZT) or on a public holiday or weekend, will be processed on the second Business Day following the request (Wed), and you will receive payment on the following Business Day (Thurs morning).
• Emergency cash in requests made before 7pm (NZT) on a Business Day are processed overnight and you will receive payment on the following Business Day. Emergency cash in requests submitted after 7pm (NZT) or on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next Business Day and then you will receive payment on the following Business Day.
• If you request a cash in after the next prize draw, then you will receive the payment on the third Business Day of the following month.

If you're cashing in your Bonus Bonds using our emergency redemption service, then a fee of $15 applies. The fee will be debited from the Bonus Bonds cashed in and the remainder deposited into your bank account.

15. How will I know if my purchase or cash-in has been processed?

When you next log on to MyBonusBonds, you'll receive a message to say that your request has been processed. You can also see the status of your transactions by clicking on 'My current transactions'.

16. Why are certain Bonus Bonds not displayed for cashing in?

There are several reasons why your Bonus Bonds may not be displayed for cashing in:

• If the Bonus Bonds have been purchased through any channel in the last 10 business days, as these are not able to be cashed in through MyBonusBonds until 10 business days have elapsed. However a cash in request for these Bonus Bonds may be submitted through an ANZ branch or your local PostShop at any time.
• If the funds used to purchase the Bonus Bonds have not been cleared
• If they are part of a bondholding that requires more than one person to approve a cash in
• If the Bonus Bonds have been recorded as stolen or have lending secured against them.

17. How do I buy Bonus Bonds for someone else using MyBonusBonds?

Buying for your children or for friends and family

Go to 'My bondholdings' and click on 'Add bondholding'. Click on either: 'Bondholding for your child - up to the age of 15 (My Kids' Bonds)'; or 'Bondholding for another person where they own the Bonds (My Friends & Family)'

If the person you're buying for is an existing bondholder, you'll need to enter their bondholder number. If not, you can still buy them Bonus Bonds and they'll be issued a new bondholder number. You can then choose whether you'd like to print the Bonus Bonds certificate or have it mailed to them directly.

If the recipient is new to Bonus Bonds the prize payment method will be set to reinvest. If the new bondholder or parent/guardian wishes to change the prize payment method, cash in the Bonus Bonds or would like to change the personal details, they will need to visit an ANZ branch (New Zealand only) or their local PostShop with personal identification.

Buying Bonus Bonds in your name but intending to transfer the Bonus Bonds later (gifting)

Go to 'My bondholdings' and click on 'Add bondholding'. Then choose the option:

'Bondholding where you own the Bonds but you intend to transfer them to another person sometime in the future'.

The prize payment method can either be set to reinvest or 'direct credit' to the bank account of the purchaser (not the intended bondholder).

For security reasons the intended bondholder will need to visit an ANZ branch with personal identification as well as the Bonus Bonds Transfer Certificate/s with the purchaser's signature, to have the Bonus Bonds transferred into their name.

You'll find them in the MyBonusBonds Conditions of Use below.

These Conditions of Use form a legal contract between you and us in relation to your use of MyBonusBonds. It is important that you read and understand them before you proceed with registering for MyBonusBonds. Each time you access MyBonusBonds you agree to be bound by these Conditions of Use. These Conditions of Use specify:

• Your authorisation (mandate) to us to process transactions received via MyBonusBonds, including debiting/crediting your Accounts;
• Your obligations, rights and responsibilities when using MyBonusBonds;
• Our obligations, rights and responsibilities in relation to the provision of MyBonusBonds;
• The extent of your potential liability when using MyBonusBonds; and
• Other important matters including privacy, termination of access to MyBonusBonds, amendments to MyBonusBonds and these Conditions of Use and how you may receive notices.

Terminology & Glossary of Terms

"Accounts" means your Purchase Account/s and/or Cash in Account/s.

"ANZ" is ANZ National Bank Limited.

"Bondholding" means one or more Bonus Bonds owned by the same person or persons which are given a distinct and identifiable bondholding number.

"Business Day" is any day excluding a Saturday, Sunday, or any day on which ANZ is not open for business.

"Cash in Account/s" is the bank account/s nominated from which funds will be credited from the redemption of Bonus Bonds via MyBonusBonds.

"eCertificates" or "electronic certificates" are Bonus Bonds certificates in an electronic format.

"Operating Authority" means the right to provide instructions to us in respect of a Bondholding whether or not you have ownership of the Bonus Bonds held under that Bondholding. For example, a parent or guardian of a child aged less than 15 years may have Operating Authority over Bonus Bonds owned by that child.

"Purchase Account/s" is the bank account/s nominated from which funds will be debited for purchases of Bonus Bonds via MyBonusBonds.

"We", "us" and "ANZIS" refers to ANZ Investment Services (New Zealand) Limited.

"You" and "your" means the person or persons who have Operating Authority on a Bondholding, and if a Bondholding has more than one person with Operating Authority means any one of you.

MyBonusBonds access number and password

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Use of your access number and password, provide sufficient authority for us to process transactions received via MyBonusBonds, including debiting/crediting your Accounts, whether or not you have authorised the instruction; and
• We may act on instructions received via MyBonusBonds using your access number and password and are not obliged to make any further enquiries.

Operating Authority

Only persons with Operating Authority over a Bondholding may access and use MyBonusBonds in respect of that Bondholding. For the avoidance of doubt ownership of a Bondholding without Operating Authority is not sufficient to allow access to MyBonusBonds in respect of that Bondholding.

Where a Bondholding has more than one person with Operating Authority then each such person:

• Must be able to exercise that Operating Authority alone without the agreement or consent of the other(s) to be able to access and use MyBonusBonds for the following purposes:
  • Give instructions to cash in any Bonus Bonds held under that Bondholding;
  • Change prize payment details for that Bondholding; and
  • Change any personal details provided in respect of that Bondholding including address for communications and receipt of marketing material.
• Must individually register to be able to access MyBonusBonds and when accessing MyBonusBonds must use their own access number and password.
• Is jointly and severally liable for the performance of their own and each others obligations under these Conditions of Use including for any purchase or redemption instructions received in respect of that Bondholding.

Bonus Bond Trust Deed and prospectus

In addition to these Conditions of Use any purchase of Bonus Bonds using MyBonusBonds is subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Trust Deed and the registered prospectus (as duly amended from time to time). When you use MyBonusBonds you agree to be bound by those terms and conditions.

A copy of the Trust Deed may be inspected free of charge at the Secretary's Dept, ANZ National Bank Limited, Level 6, 1 Victoria St, Wellington, during normal business hours.

Availability of MyBonusBonds

MyBonusBonds is generally available (but we do not warrant or represent access will be available) 24 hours, 365 days a year, except for any necessary downtime to allow for maintenance of the system and unexpected outages.

To the extent permitted by law, neither we or ANZ will not be liable for any refusal or omission to follow instructions or any other failure to fulfil our obligations, due to causes beyond our reasonable control (including without limitation, the failure or default of any third party network provider or any system not owned or directly controlled by us, or any other electronic, telecommunications, power or computer processing failure).

Communications

Communications with you will be electronic, via Bondmail on MyBonusBonds and email, except where you opted to receive certificates and prize advices by mail. We may not always provide a functional unsubscribe facility within an email communication if the email is for information purposes only.

You may opt out of receiving eCertificates and electronic prize advices at any time and receive paper certificates instead. You can do this within MyBonusBonds by selecting the 'Bondholding details' screen.

We and ANZ may monitor and/or record telephone conversations for verification purposes.

Your Obligations

You represent and warrant to us that:

• You can meet all obligations and commitments arising from or connected to any instructions received via MyBonusBonds including instructions to purchase or cash in Bonus Bonds;
• When you give an instruction to cash in a Bonus Bond via MyBonusBonds that you have free and clear ownership of that Bonus Bond, unencumbered by any security or other interest and that you have Operating Authority over that Bond that can be exercised without the consent or agreement of any other person.

You will be bound by any purchase or cash in instruction received via MyBonusBonds using your access number and online password and you authorise us to debit and credit your Accounts accordingly.

It is your responsibility to safeguard your password and commit your password to memory, to guard against the possibility that others may use that password to gain unauthorised access to MyBonusBonds.

You agree you will not:

• Choose a password that is easily able to be guessed or identified as relating to you, or is an obvious combination of letters and numbers (e.g. sequential numbers, birthday etc);
• Make your password known to any other people;
• Keep any records of your password in a form that can be easily identified;
• Store your password anywhere in written or electronic form;
• Choose a password that is directly related to information that can be easily identified; or
• Leave your computer unattended and left logged into MyBonusBonds.

If your password has been or may have been disclosed, you must contact us immediately on toll free number 0800 BONDS 4 U (0800 266 374). We encourage you to change your password on a regular basis using the 'Change Password' option in MyBonusBonds.

You agree to ensure all information provided to us in relation to MyBonusBonds and any Bondholding that you have Operating Authority over is accurate.

Your Liability

You will not be liable for:

• Fraudulent or negligent conduct by our employees or agents;
• Faults that occur in the MyBonusBonds system or software, unless the faults are obvious or advised by message, alerts or notice on display; or
• Unauthorised transactions occurring before you (or any other persons who has Operating Authority over the Bondholding) has been notified that your (or their) registration for MyBonusBonds has been activated.

You are liable for all the loss if you have acted fraudulently or negligently, either alone or together with any other person.

If you have not acted fraudulently or negligently you may still be liable for some or all of the loss from unauthorised transactions if you or any other person with Operating Authority over the Bondholding have contributed to or caused that loss by, for example:

• Selecting an unsuitable password;
• Keeping a written record of their password, or disclosing any password to any other person;
• Failing to take all reasonable steps to prevent disclosure to any other person when keying in a password, or
• Unreasonable delay in notifying us of the actual or possible disclosure to any other person of your password or unauthorised use.

If you have promptly reported the actual or possible disclosure of your password to us, you are not liable for loss occurring after notification to us unless you have acted fraudulently or negligently.

If you let anyone else use your access number and password, you will be liable for any transactions through MyBonusBonds by or with the consent of that person.

You agree to give us all available information as to the circumstances of any actual or possible password disclosure or unauthorised use of your access number and password. In addition, you agree to assist us to recover unauthorised amounts withdrawn in respect of a Bondholding.

Your Indemnity to us

You agree to indemnify and hold us and ANZ harmless for any loss we or ANZ may incur or suffer as a result of:

• Any breach of these Conditions of Use by you or any other persons who has Operating Authority over the relevant Bondholding; or
• Any security breach caused or permitted by you or any other persons who has Operating Authority over the relevant Bondholding.

You acknowledge that any unauthorised reproduction by you of any proprietary information provided or available via MyBonusBonds may result in legal action being taken.

Security of MyBonusBonds

We will endeavour to ensure that MyBonusBonds is a secure system within which you can carry out purchases and cash ins of Bonus Bonds and retrieve and request changes to any Bondholding that you have Operating Authority over. You acknowledge that MyBonusBonds require that your web browser supports 128-bit encryption.

Processing instructions

We may delay acting upon an instruction received through MyBonusBonds or may ask for further information before acting on any instruction at our complete discretion.

Purchasing Bonus Bonds

So long as there are sufficient available funds in your Purchase Account we will endeavour to ensure instructions to purchase Bonus Bonds are processed within the following timeframes (but we do not warrant or represent these timeframes):

• Instructions received by us before 7pm (NZT) on a Business Day will be processed and appear in your 'My current transactions' the following Business Day; and
• Instructions received by us after 7pm (NZT) on a business day or on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next Business Day and will appear in your 'My current transactions' the following Business Day.

First eligible prize draw

Purchases successfully made before 7pm (NZT) will have an issue date of that day, and those units will be first eligible for the monthly prize draws when they have been held for one complete calendar month. For example, Bonus Bonds purchased before 7pm (NZT) on Sunday 31 October will be eligible for the December prize draw.

Cashing in Bonus Bonds

We will endeavour to ensure instructions to cash in Bonus Bonds are processed within the following timeframes (but we do not warrant or represent these timeframes):

• Standard cash in requests made before 7pm (NZT) on a Business Day (e.g. Mon 6pm), will be processed the next Business Day (Tues), and you will receive payment the following Business Day (Wed morning).
• If the request is submitted after 7pm on a Business Day (e.g. Mon 8pm) or on a public holiday or weekend, it will be processed on the second Business Day following the request (Wed), and you will receive payment on the following Business Day (Thurs morning).
• Emergency Requests made before 7pm (NZT) on a Business Day are processed overnight and payment will be received the following Business Day. Emergency cash in requests submitted after 7pm (NZT) or on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next Business Day and payment will be received on the following Business Day.
• If a request is made for cash in after the next prize draw, the payment will be received on the third Business Day of the following month.

A fee of $15 applies for emergency redemption of Bonus Bonds via MyBonusBonds. You authorise us to debit from the full redemption amount the $15 emergency redemption fee payable on an emergency redemption via MyBonusBonds.

Bonus Bonds not available for cashing in

The following types of Bonus Bonds are not available for cash in using MyBonusBonds:

• Bonus Bonds that have been purchased in the last 10 business days;
• Where funds identified to purchase the Bonus Bonds have not been cleared;
• Bonus Bonds where there are more than one person with Operating Authority and each person is not able to exercise that Operating Authority alone with out the agreement of the other person(s); and
• If the Bonus Bonds have been recorded as stolen or have lending secured against them.

We reserve the right to not complete a purchase or cancel issued Bonus Bonds in the event of unsuccessful or dishonoured payments.

Helpdesk

We will provide a helpdesk to assist you in your use of MyBonusBonds. The helpdesk will generally be available 24 hours, 365 days a year (but we do not warrant or represent access will be available), except for necessary downtime to allow maintenance of the system. This service is provided on the understanding that neither we nor our employees will be liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered by you, resulting from your use of the helpdesk service unless that loss results from fraudulent or negligent conduct of our employees.

Withdrawal of Service

We may at any time withdraw or suspend your access to MyBonusBonds in our absolute discretion without prior notification to you and without being responsible for any loss which you may suffer as a result. We will suspend or withdraw your access to MyBonusBonds if:

• You or any other person who has Operating Authority over the relevant Bondholding breach any of these Conditions of Use;
• We learn of death, bankruptcy or lack of legal capacity of you or any other person who has Operating Authority over the relevant Bondholding; or
• You or any other person who has Operating Authority over the relevant Bondholding have acted fraudulently.

You may at anytime cancel your access to MyBonusBonds by contacting the MyBonusBonds helpdesk or visiting any ANZ Branch (New Zealand only).

Changes to MyBonusBonds and the Conditions of Use

We may at any time and without being responsible for any loss which you may suffer as a result modify, add, suspend or delete:

• Any features of the MyBonusBonds services; or
• Any of these Conditions of Use.

We will give you at least 14 days notice of any change to these Conditions of Use by either:

• Direct communications with you including Bondmail, email and MyBonusBonds log on messages;
• Display on www.bonusbonds.co.nz; or
• Media advertisements.

Any change is binding from the day we advise it takes effect. Any change in your liability for losses will be notified to you in writing and will be sent to your last known email address or your last known physical address at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Fees and Charges

There are no fees or charges associated with your access to MyBonusBonds. There may be fees your bank may charge associated with purchasing Bonus Bonds from your Purchase Account/s.

A fee of $15 applies for emergency redemption of Bonus Bonds via MyBonusBonds. You authorise us to debit from the full redemption amount the $15 emergency redemption fee payable on an emergency redemption via MyBonusBonds

Use of Information

Your transactions and other personal information are held securely by ANZIS and ANZ.

Any personal information which is held by us will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For details on our Privacy Policy, please refer to the 'Privacy statement' section within the Bonus Bonds Terms and Conditions.

Bondmail

Bondmail is a messaging service which allows you to send us, and receive back, messages within the MyBonusBonds environment.

Bondmail can be used to make enquiries about the Bondholding you have Operating Authority over or Bonus Bonds generally. We expect to deal with a message within one Business Day of its receipt by either actioning it or contacting you if we need further details (but we do not warrant or represent these timeframes). However, if your request is urgent, you should contact the helpdesk on free phone number 0800 BONDS 4 U (0800 266 374).

These Conditions of Use apply to Bondmail. In addition:

• You are responsible for the accuracy and content of all information contained in your messages;
• To the extent permitted by law, neither we nor ANZ are liable for any loss or damage you or any other person may suffer arising from any act or omission by us in relation to your message.

Country of Residence

You can only activate your MyBonusBonds registration in person in New Zealand. Bonus Bonds can only be purchased through MyBonusBonds by customers residing in New Zealand or Australia. We cannot accept applications for Bonus Bonds from persons other than those residing in New Zealand and Australia. Both purchases and cash in requests submitted through MyBonusBonds require a New Zealand bank account.
