Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
  1. The Bonus Bonds 'Spring in Europe' prize draw commences on 1 August 2012 at 12am midnight and ends at 7pm on 25 September 2012 (the "Competition Period").
  2. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. There will be 8 weekly draws in total. The first prize draw will take place on 9 August 2012 and the winner announced on Sunday 12 August. The subsequent 7 draws will take place every Thursday in the following weeks, with the last draw on 27 September 2012 and the winner announced 30 September 2012.
  4. To be eligible you must purchase Bonus Bonds during the Competition Period by 7pm on the Tuesday prior to the Thursday weekly draw. e.g. To be eligible for the draw on Thursday 9 August, you must purchase Bonus Bonds by 7pm on Tuesday 7 August. Purchases are deemed to have been made at the time of receipt of transmission into the database of Bonus Bonds, not the time of transmission or application by the entrant. Delays in the processing of purchases may occur for applications submitted through NZ Post. To qualify, the winning bondholder must be the registered bondholder of the winning Bonus Bond unit at the time of the prize draw. Every $1 worth of Bonus Bonds purchased (minimum purchase of $20) gives the bondholder one entry into the relevant weekly draw and any following weekly draws.
  5. The competition prizes are 8 x prizes made up of a travel voucher issued by Flight Centre Limited for two people including return flights, accommodation and transfers to the value of $10,000; and an ANZ Travel Card loaded to the value of NZ$2,500. The travel voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Winners must arrange their own travel itinerary for their European destination with Flight Centre. All Flight Centre vouchers are issued subject to the Flight Centre Booking Terms and Conditions which apply to the possession and use of the voucher. The winner of the prize will be required to comply with the Booking Terms and Conditions. These are available at flightcentre.co.nz.
  6. The first entry drawn in each weekly draw that complies with these Terms and Conditions will win one of the 8 prizes.
  7. Each winner will be notified by email or telephone by 5pm on the Friday following the relevant draw. If three reasonable attempts to contact the winner have been made and the winner is still unavailable, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn by ANZ Investment Services (New Zealand) Limited ("ANZIS"). A bondholder can only win one of the weekly prizes.
  8. ANZIS's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the prize/s become unavailable, ANZIS may substitute an alternative equivalent prize/s without notice.
  9. ANZIS may change, extend or amend or cancel the competition at any time.
  10. ANZIS shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with the competition, the taking or using of a prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of ANZIS or any of their associated agencies, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  11. By claiming a prize, the winner consents to ANZIS making use of their name(s) and/or photograph(s) for publicity purposes as determined by ANZIS.
  12. ANZIS assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind of internet malfunction.
  13. The 'Spring in Europe' prize draw is provided by ANZIS independently of the regular monthly Bonus Bonds prize draws and does not impact on, or form part of, the dollar value of prizes distributed as part of the monthly Bonus Bonds prize draws. Bondholders will not go into the regular monthly prize draws until they have held their Bonus Bonds for one complete calendar month after the month in which they made the purchase.
  14. The usual Bonus Bonds terms and conditions will apply to Bonus Bonds won, purchased, or redeemed.
